The Hospital
It's found in her core of love,
and the soul of his death.
It can't escape the limp body on the bed either.
Every eye fills with it.
It's the spear laced to the end of every raged word.
Even time can't hide from it.
The courage is rapidly dissipating in it's presence.
If only there were a mighty shield for the fear.
Then, maybe, the hollow bodies wouldn't crumble in it.
Man Teeners. Watching death happen is so SO sucky. I hate it. When I get back into town let's have a LONG coffee date. Loooooong.
ReplyDeleteBah, there's hope and that's the only good thing. I hope you got my email that I sent you. Jolie' perspective on death was so incredibe to me--how she cared for Dinga after she died, and how she REMEMBER her now. Love you tina!
